Mad dogs and Englishmen

After last weekend the boys were ready to get back to the action. Unfortunately the website that Dan put us onto (www.seabreeze.com.au) was correct with the prediction of 3 foot and howling southerly. Dick, Dan and Thommo turned up at 6:45am praying for a miracle but it was not to be.
Thommo and Dan conducting a board meeting.
There are a lot of stories in "the sock", but the one its telling today is "Dan, go home and watch 'The morning of the earth' flick"

4 foot and offshore

After the call went out from Thommo "see you at the sock, its going to be 4 foot and off shore" the replies came flooding in. "Count me in." Unfortunately Adam was in Byron (poor bloke), "Tin Man Parker" was in Noosa (hoping to catch some of the QLD swell) and Foss was stuck in a board room somewhere. Myself, Rod, Jeffro, Dan and Watto were in.

7am: As usual Watto came in with the Sock Report (see above), "must move south". Off to the wall we went. Mayday went out for Dan the Man.
Whilst checking the solid swell at The wall and back to North Cronulla, Thommo spotted "The Point". (See below) "Seems to be lining up OK. Lets check it out".
"Looks OK to me. Lets get amongst it.

The editor can report in with, a bit cold (barely 15 degrees), a bit crowded( probs 40 people) but worth the effort.
